Use Claude Code, Codex or Cursor on the plan you already pay for, with no API key, and pick from one menu mid-chat. Or run a model on your PC with Inglen's own engine, which finds and downloads one that fits your graphics card, or bring your own key for Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, OpenRouter, xAI or Groq.
Give it a team
Inglen hands parts of a big job to helpers, and you watch them work in the Team room. A helper can be another agent you have installed, like Codex or Claude Code. Its changes stay in its own copy until you look at them and bring them in.
It answers out loud
Press the mic and talk. Listening and speaking both run on your PC, and you can talk over a reply.
Memory
Keeps what it learns about you as small notes on your disk that you can read, change or delete.

You talk to it in a window, in the terminal, or out loud.

For Windows 10 and 11, under the MIT license. Installs to your user folder, no admin needed. The full download brings its own model engine. Lite is for when you use a cloud key, an agent, or another model server.

Questions
What leaves my PC?
Only what you turn on: your messages to the cloud model or agent you pick, web searches, and the chat apps or email you set up. With Plus, messages between your phone and your PC are end-to-end encrypted. The privacy page lists everything.
Does it work offline?
Yes, with a model on your PC. Only web search needs the internet.
Will it change my files without asking?
Writes stay inside its own folder unless you allow another one, and the switch by the send box decides what asks first. A changed file is copied first, so it can be put back.
What do I need?
Windows 10 or 11. For a model on your PC, a graphics card with 8 GB of memory runs a good small model. With a cloud key or an agent, any PC is enough.
Why the name?
An ingle is the fire in a hearth, the warm middle of a house. Updating from an older version keeps your settings, memory and chats.
